As an experienced editorial professional I now manage complex multi-component projects on a freelance basis, addressing challenges and collaborating with others to solve problems quickly. This includes monitoring project status, schedule and budget. I also perform a range of editorial services such as copyediting, proofreading, digital briefing and checking, content adaptation, and manuscript styling on an ad hoc or discreet basis. I have a critical approach to analysing content and materials, based on a good understanding of end user needs, and have experience with a range of print, digital and media content. I am skilled at developing effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders (e.g. media managers, design professionals, digital teams, production departments, and sales and marketing teams) which is vitally important to my success, as is having an excellent eye for detail, super organisational skills and a proactive approach to managing projects.
