But everything changed in 2015.
That was the year inventor-designer Gianfranco Amadardo created something the industry had never seen before:
A completely hidden mechanical joint, capable of connecting hollow tubes at perfect right angles—seamlessly, invisibly, beautifully.
They called it the AJS System.
With patents secured in the USA, China, Australia, Europe, and across parts of the Middle East and North Africa, this one innovation became the invisible soul behind over 150 variants of aluminum structures.
Not just pergolas and gazebos—canopy beds, solar-powered loungers, and smart outdoor sofas followed, blending luxury with functionality.
And now, SKAEMA® is writing its next chapter.
Thanks to the AJS system, it’s entering the world of temporary retail structures, event setups, and modular advertising frameworks—systems that assemble in minutes and vanish just as easily.
