Skånes universitetssjukhus (Skåne University Hospital)

Since January 2010, the former hospitals in Malmö and Lund are merged into one hospital - Skåne University Hospital - Skånes universitetssjukhus. Skåne University Hospital is the third largest of Sweden's seven university hospitals and is part of Region Skåne. It is also one of the largest emergency medicine hospitals in Sweden. 400 people visit our two emergency departments every day. We offer skilled emergency and trauma medical care, principally to our citizens within Region Skåne. As a university hospital, our three cornerstones are: · advanced medical care · training · prominent research. Our training and research will be to the benefit of future patients while also being of great importance for social development and economic life. 1.7 million people throughout southern Sweden are able to benefit directly from our highly specialised care.
