SKEmet was founded in May 2022. We are a process engineering consultancy firm, specializing in mass and energy balances for mineral processing plants. We are based in South Africa and have considerable experience in plant design and the delivery of projects, from study phase to final process plant handover. The team comes prepared with global insight, having worked with Clients in South Africa, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Mozambique. The mass and energy balance are the heart and soul; and what gives life to metallurgical processes. Plant design, capital costs, and technical evaluations are all dependent on the mass and energy balance. SKEmet strongly believes that a well-simulated process must be the first step in assisting our Client with the delivery of a reliable and sustainable asset.
