We set up Sketch Design Consultancy Ltd in 2017 to provide Mechanical Design Engineering support to a wide range of companies in the manufacturing industry. Initially taking on short and long term contracts to provide CAD expertise and knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes to support project development, we have now grown to offer a Design Consultancy service.
We specialise in Design for Manufacture, Design for Assembly and Design for Serviceability. We have experience designing components utilising manufacturing processes from Injection Moulding to Sheet Metal Forming, from Casting to Pipe Forming.
We offer support from concept design through to production and line trials. We produce CAD models and drawings to BS8888 that can be delivered to suppliers for manufacture. We have our own SolidWorks and Onshape licenses that we have integrated with our clients PDM systems to ensure the security of their IP. We also offer SLA and FDM 3D printing services that is ideal for detailed prototyping and design development.
