Hi there! My name is Sammy Thorpe and I am a portrait illustrator based in the vibrant city of Sheffield. With a passion for creativity and a love for all things artistic, I strive to tell a story with each portrait. When I'm not busy creating, you can often find me bouldering or going for walks in the Peak District. Being outdoors helps me clear my mind and escape the stresses of everyday life. Music is another great source of inspiration for me. Whether I’m listening to my old favourites or discovering new artists, I always have music playing while creating my art. I love how the right music can help me focus, be more creative and change the emotion of the portrait I am working on. As a portrait illustrator, I believe everyone has a unique story to tell. I strive to tell that story and capture all the emotion it comes with on the page.
