SkilLAB

SkilLAB is an educational and experiential platform that empowers students to become change-makers in their communities and cities. Guided by our founder, Devika Harlalka Taneja, students design and lead their own social impact projects through a structured, hands-on approach. These projects are thoughtfully aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring global relevance and purpose. From in-depth research and creative problem-solving to practical implementation and reflective impact assessment, students at SkilLAB engage with real-world challenges and develop the skills, mindset, and confidence to drive meaningful, lasting change. The SkilLAB Social Impact and Leadership Summer Program offers a dynamic blend of daily workshops focused on skill development—from research and critical thinking to project design and implementation. The program features expert guest lectures, collaborations with leading NGOs, hands-on social impact projects, and activities that enhance public speaking, debating, and confidence. The experience culminates in a final project report and presentation, where students showcase their work and impact. SkilLAB has made a lasting impact across multiple editions, empowering students to become confident, responsible, and action-oriented leaders. Participants leave the program with a deeper sense of civic responsibility, enhanced self-confidence, and a toolkit of practical skills to drive meaningful change in their communities. SkilLAB cultivates an environment where students learn to think critically, communicate with clarity, and take initiative as changemakers in the real world.
