SkillUp Edda is a group that was built by young and well-meaning Edda youths that has the best interest of Edda at heart to help in developing the indigenes of Edda Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, Nigeria through skill acquisition/empowerment programs.
We are focused on making sure that indigenes of Edda Local government are empowered with life-changing skills, as this will help us achieve the following:
1. Reduce the rate of unemployment in the whole of Edda.
2. Help with fast-tracking the rate of development in Edda.
3. Reduce the rate of crimes and social vices in Edda communities.
4. Help our youths and teenagers build capacity and gain skills to make them compete globally.
Our training is centred around the UN SDGs of 1, 9 and 11 and is facilitated by young Edda indigenes across the country with expertise across Digital skills, Phone repairs, Event planning, and decoration, Catering, and other valuable skills.
We are powered by My Edda, in collaboration with Edda Loaded, Face of Edda, Concerned Edda Youth Movement.
