Skitti d.o.o is a family-owned company currently in the hands of the third generation. The journey began in 1965 when Jožef Smrkolj opened a locksmithing workshop in the basement of his family home. The first significant project was the production of lights, which still stand in Laško and Portorož today.
The introduction of new machinery and technologies led to an increase in customers and clients, resulting in a growing workforce. Twenty years after its establishment, a new business facility with over five hundred square meters of space was constructed. Later, in 2017, a new business unit was added in nearby Kisovec.
