Africans in the Diaspora send over $60 billion annually to their home countries. About 35% of this amount is school fees and the rest accounting for bills and domestic consumption. Our solution has a multi-sided marketplace where it can be utilized locally in Canada for the payment of school fees and also cross-border to pay for school fees in Africa. A parent can have multiple students/beneficiaries on their account and transparently manage their fees payments. Governments can effectively disburse bursaries directly to schools using the bulk payments feature. Likewise, international NGO’s can also pay school fees for needy students directly to schools without having to go through third parties. The schools can efficiently push the invoices directly to the parents and each party receives a confirmation and payment history for each student.
