Sky Metals has a clear vision to meet growing global demand for tin through the development of its 100%-owned Tallebung Tin Project in New South Wales. Tallebung is uniquely placed to provide a secure source of sustainable tin supply, to feed irreplaceable and rapidly expanding tin demand for the manufacture of semi-conductors, electronics and solar PV technologies. A Mineral Resource Estimate of 15.6Mt at 0.15% tin for 23,000 tonnes of contained tin and an Exploration Target of 23-32Mt at 0.14-0.17% tin has already been defined at Tallebung, with significant growth potential firmly established. Recent testwork using aggressive ore sorting technology has confirmed the ability to deliver a 44x upgrade of tin grade to 4.42% Tin, with +98% recovery and +80% mass rejection. An updated Mineral Resource and mining studies are scheduled for delivery during 2025. Tin offers a compelling market outlook due to its use as a solder, making it a vital ingredient in new technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and in the production of Electric Vehicles, solar PV panels, energy storage solutions and semi-conductors – with demand set for exponential growth as the shift towards electrification, AI and clean energy accelerates.
