SkyeLabs Innovation Inc. is a tech startup focused on supplying sustainable aerogel solutions for aerospace, space exploration, and high-performance apparel. Our team of four has developed EcoGel, an environmentally sustainable and mechanically superior carbon biopolymer aerogel providing thermal insulation, electromagnetic interference shielding, flame retardancy, electrical conductivity, and space optimization. As a highly porous material, EcoGel is composed largely of air and is thus extremely lightweight and slim. EcoGel’s unique incorporation of organic cellulose gives it significantly enhanced durability in comparison to dominant silica aerogels.
