SkyLimit Industry SICAV (the “Fund”) is a structured investment vehicle defined as a fund of qualified investors. It has been launched by SkyLimit Investments and offers individual investors access to private equity investments. It is one of the first and very few opportunities currently existing on the local market for high-net-worth individuals to expand and diversify their portfolio by this traditional alternative asset class.
SkyLimit Industry is building an industrial group by investing the capital raised from its investors into a portfolio of small and medium sized private enterprises primarily in the mechanical engineering sector. Target companies are being carefully selected with a potential for manufacturing, commercial and other synergies among them. They all feature long term profitability, high value added and strong cash flow generation ability and experienced management team with sufficient width and depth of capabilities.
In the current environment of excessive liquidity and low returns on capital, the Fund offers an attractive alternative for placing available funds to work in return for an above-the-average long term return. Investors will benefit from risk diversification as they are exposed to a wider portfolio of target companies.
The investment team includes four seasoned professionals with detailed knowledge of the local market. The combined experience embraces all relevant aspects of the investment and post-investment processes, including private equity, M&A, corporate banking, business consulting, portfolio management and financial management.
The Fund is a regulated product, with its regulatory framework consisting of the Czech National Bank as supervisor, AVANT as licensed administrator, KPMG as auditor, Česká spořitelna as custodian and Kreston A&CE Group as portfolio appraiser.
