Skymind Global Ventures (SGV) is the world’s first dedicated artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem builder, focused on developing the fundamental technology and talent for artificial intelligence. Founded in 2019, SGV helps companies and governments to adopt AI through its Skymind Launchpad and Talent Hub programme. Konduit, a subsidiary of SGV, offers support, training services and expert consulting for open-core machine learning software and Konduit EE for Eclipse Deeplearning4j. Konduit technology is used by hundreds of Fortune 500 companies to standardise deployment, govern the deployment of AI models and scale it into production-level deployment. Eclipse Deeplearning4j is an open-source project for configuring and tuning deep neural networks and is the most widely used AI framework for Java and Scala, and serves as a bridge between the Python data science community and big data tools like Spark and Kafka. Adam Gibson, project lead for Eclipse Deeplearning4j, is also a Strategic Board Director of the Eclipse Foundation and originally organised the 2017 donation of Eclipse Deeplearning4j from Skymind Inc to the Eclipse ecosystem.
