We are Skyrats, a student extension team of approximately 70 undergraduate students from USP, united by the goal of developing autonomous drones and fostering technological innovation. We participate in national and international competitions, earning prestigious awards such as 1st place overall at CBRobótica 2021 and 2022, 1st place overall at COBRUF 2018 and 2019/2020, winners of the ABII Challenge 2023, and the Hardtech 2024 competition. A highlight is the Judges Award at IMAV 2024, the international drone competition, where we were recognized as having the best Outdoor drone in the world!
Our projects range from building mechanical frames to implementing artificial intelligence algorithms, focusing on missions without human intervention. Additionally, we offer aerial filming services and provide internal training for our members, regardless of prior knowledge.
Our funding comes from grants, partnerships with companies, and aerial filming services. We also benefit from technical sponsorships, such as software licenses and equipment. Through continuous innovation and learning, we aim to push the boundaries of drone technology while sharing our knowledge with the community.
