See LA Prosper—or SLAP, for short—is a media entity dedicated to showcasing the most underexposed sides of LA County’s music and arts scene. SLAP works to create content that is informed, empathetic and relatable.
We work alongside artists to uplift the communities, both artistic and social, that are missed or misunderstood by most media. Founded and ran by LA County natives, SLAP thrives on a unique cultural perspective bred from a diverse social landscape that is characteristic of LA. We are not only concerned with the music, but the artists themselves and the journeys and cultures that have formed them.
