My name is Elie Diner and I'm an ex-academic research scientist with 12 years of experience in molecular biology, microbiology, and immunology. Now, I'm a science writer. My goal, for the SlideTalk blog, is to empower scientists to better present their research. I am passionate about delivering the message that the clearer you make a presentation, the more people you reach. And the fewer people you annoy. I hope to do this by writing blog posts on a variety of topics including, slide design, effective presentation styles, presenting specific length talks, and science communication challenges.
