The Sri Lanka National Arbitration Centre (SLNAC) is a not-for-profit Guarantee Company incorporated under the Companies Act, and a leading institution in domestic and international commercial arbitration. Since 1985, SLNAC has been dedicated to advancing justice through arbitration—offering efficient, cost-effective, and flexible dispute resolution for businesses, governments, and legal practitioners alike.
From facilitating hearings to advising on national arbitration policy, SLNAC plays a vital role in shaping Sri Lanka’s legal landscape. The Centre contributed significantly to the development of the Arbitration Act No. 11 of 1955 and supports the enforcement of arbitral awards via Sri Lanka’s dedicated Commercial High Court.
