SLOE Gallery

SLOE Gallery is an artist-led gallery collective, co-founded and co-directed by Amy Mizrahi and Robin Sukatorn, which is dedicated to showcasing and bringing together the work of emerging and local artists through high-quality and engaging curated exhibitions. Launched in the autumn of 2016, SLOE Gallery was first established as a physical exhibition space at Mirabel Studios in Manchester city centre. Over the next two years, SLOE presented a programme of 16 exhibitions and featured the work of 62 artists from across the North, the UK and Europe- including painting, drawing, illustration, photography, printmaking, sculpture, installation, performance, sound and video art. The driving ethos of the gallery has always been to provide a progressive, accessible and professional space for emerging and early-career artists to express their ideas, test out new work and showcase their creative practices in a public context. Having passed on the exhibition space at Mirabel Studios which the original co-founders established in 2016, SLOE Gallery now lives on as a roaming 'nomadic' gallery collective, developing exhibitions opportunities in collaboration with other venues and spaces across the North West and beyond.
