Sloppy Plate was started in 2017 to try and take better care of just one dog. Garret Kun's American Bulldog Spencer battled with digestion issues for much of his adult life despite eating veterinary prescribed "high-end" commercial dog food. No longer willing to accept Spencer's condition without first trying everything possible to fix it, Garret threw out Spencer's kibble and began cooking him homemade meals using ingredients from his fridge.
