SLS Services was started by Charlie Scott, a forth generation small business owner, in 1991. It first began as Scott's Lawn Services, but soon expanded into grading work. By 1995, SLS Services was focused on working with new home builders in all phases of excavation.
We view our work as a partnership with our builders, and have designed our business model to meet their needs. Our experience allows us to understand the various stages of construction and to anticipate upcoming tasks. We are able to remain flexible and adjust to your schedule as job site conditions warrant.
Our variety of services include grading, excavation, hauling, digging utility ditches and installing utilities, tree and shrub installation, seeding and sodding, irrigation installation, erosion control and subdivision maintenance. From clearing the lot to laying the sod on the finished yard, we are the solution for all your excavation needs.
In 2013 we have started Environmental Site Solutions, LLC (E.S.S.). E.S.S. provides erosion control and concrete washout containers for the construction industry.
We are the TN distributor for "Siltworm", a polypropylene geotextile tube filled with a proprietary blend of recycled wood products. We also install standard silt fence products.
Our concrete washout systems consist of metal containers, similar to dumpsters. These containers are water tight to prevent concrete washout and sediment from leaching into the soil, and help to maintain an environmentally friendly work site.
