Our Legacy: SLT Millers & Maltsters, established in 1999, stands as a heartfelt tribute to its visionary founder, the late Mr. S.L. Tandon . An erudite entrepreneur and benevolent humanitarian, Mr. Tandon meticulously laid the groundwork for this India-based, family-owned legacy, previously known as SLT Mills since 1967. His initial focus was on the milling of rice, flour, barley, and millets. Our Journey: Propelled by his enduring vision, SLT Millers & Maltsters has ascended to prominence as a leading purveyor of Basmati rice in international markets, celebrated for its unwavering commitment to quality. Beyond its esteemed rice offerings, the company is equally recognized for its innovative advancements in malt production, demonstrating a progressive approach to the grain industry. SLT Millers & Maltsters continues to embody the values of its founder, consistently delivering excellence and innovation across its diverse product range. Our seamlessly integrated operations have access and control over the entire supply chain from farm to plate. Our goal is to strengthen our wholesale exports, private label business, and increase our HoReCa network. We are the preferred exporters of Basmati, Non-Basmati, White, Brown, Parboiled and Steamed Rice to more than 35 countries across the globe. Sustainability: One of our main driving forces is involvement at the grass root level with the farmers and their families. We believe in developing better living conditions and sustainable farming techniques for them. Thus, we have been regularly providing the farming communities with educational seminars for farmers to improve their expertise and yield, health camps to improve the community’s well-being, and access to safe drinking water.
