The Small Zoo Network (SZN) exists to unite and empower small licensed zoological facilities across the United Kingdom though collaboration, partnership, and shared expertise. We are committed to driving excellence in standards, animal welfare, conservation, education, and research by promoting high standards, facilitating resource and data sharing and supporting our members in achieving their full potential. Through collective action, we represent and advocate for the vital role small zoos play within their communities and in protecting the natural world. Membership for small licensed zoos is free of charge and the network is committed to providing free and low-cost CPD opportunities, enhancing skills, fostering collaboration, and championing positive change within our community.
