A new system is progressively penetrating all sectors of World Economy: It is called Sharing or Collaborative Economy. Exceptional success stories such as Airbnb, Uber and many other growing concepts that developing in worldwide businesses are inspiring and intriguing at the same time.
A 2014 study by PricewaterhouseCoopers, which looked at five components of the sharing/collaborative economy: travel, car sharing, finance, staffing and streaming. found that global spending in these sectors totalled about $15 billion in 2014, which was only about 5% of the total spending in those areas. The report also forecasts a possible increase of "sharing economy" spending in these areas to $335 billion by 2025, which would be about 50% of the total spending in said five areas
