Smart Dún Laoghaire is a collaborative research programme co-funded by the Science Foundation Ireland Enable Research Programme through CONNECT, and Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council (DLRCC).
It was established as a response to the two biggest challenges Dublin faces today regarding climate change: sustainable mobility and climate resilience.
Our aim is to make Dún Laoghaire a real-time, connected & data-driven town by facilitating the development, testing and scaling of advanced technologies. We go beyond tech by connecting people and engaging communities.
