Smart e-Judge

The Smart e-Judge LLC is data-driven access to justice tool dedicated to providing automated services for all stages of judgments documents, with an emphasis on automated drafting of judicial opinions and final orders. Part of the problem is that while there is a lot of legal automation upcoming, there are no efforts towards the judiciary. This is where Smart e-Judge LLC is contributing novel and unique solutions. It is generally known that there are problems face both Courts and Court Users. First, there are several inconsistency in judgments between deferent judges this includes the rationale a set of reasons or a logical basis for a particular reasoning. The acceptance of different application of the law may impact on the justice based on different judges. Furthermore, the inefficiency of time and backlogs provide certain challenge. Moreover, human errors and some bias effect justice significantly. Secondly, there are challenges facing Court Users like Clients and Lawyers. the time and cost to clients are not the only challenges but also length of trial and applications leads to even higher costs and blockage for lawyers also. Thus, there is a great need to overcome these challenges. The endeavor will address serious court and counsel’s backlog problems and lack of public access to legal counsel by creating innovative solution to lawyering. Smart e-judge 2.0 for judicial phase helps to enhance both in consistency in drafting judgemnts and efficiency of justice and reducing backlog. The endeavor will also build a repository of data, machine learning, which increases accuracy as more data is input. As a result, this endeavor will reduce both the risk of human error and reliance on clerks, attorneys, to assist in judgment-writing. Smart e-judge 3.0 for council’s phase makes lawyers’ drafting of pleas and court documents and pleadings more efficient, thereby reducing time and costs for Court Users. It also builds a repository of data and machine learning.
