Smart Parking is an App using IoT Technology, Parking Space Sensor with GPS & Wireless communication, and automated payment systems, to solve one of the World’s biggest problem: Parking in Big Cities. According to Frost & Sullivan, the global parking market is Usd100billion a year, and it’s estimated that the 100 biggest and busiest cities in the U.S. & Europe will generate a market of 20 million parking spaces and a potential revenue of Usd60billion. Parking sensor solutions are based on a concept that is as simple as it is ingenious: each individual parking space is equipped with a sensor that checks whether a space is free or taken – in real time. A newly developed parking sensor bundles all of the necessary functions into a compact housing – cars can even drive over it. The manufacturer we have selected to work with our application has demonstrated an accuracy of more than 95% in numerous field tests with over 50 vehicle types and thousands of parking maneuvers. The parking sensor manufacturer is also working with a World Renowned Car Manufacturer in the testing of Automated Valet Parking using IoT Solution. With Coronavirus and the world becoming more digitalized, we envision that when 5G Technology allows driverless cars to be connect to IoT technology the “driveless connected cars” will make parking decisions for the user – purchasing optimally and entering and exiting from parking garage without any friction based on the users preferences and parking history. Demand-based pricing will become a tenet of the parking industry, maximizing revenue by matching driver to the right space at the right time at the right facility.
