SDU Smart Structures and Manufacturing

Smart Structures and Manufacturing research group is a part of the Centre for Industrial Mechanics, Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark. The group includes Fatigue and fracture of materials Lab which owns the following equipment: - MTS Fatigue testing machine up to 100kN, - ZwickRoell universal testing machine up to 10kN (500N and 10kN loadcells), - Ametek LLOYD universal testing machine up to 30kN (1, 5, and 30kN loadcells), - Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA Q800) with force range of 0.0001 – 18N, - Universal Hardness Testing, - Charpy Impact Testing, and - A MatchID Digital Image Correlation system.
