About Smart Vehicle Systems - Working Group

Group of researchers at Technische Universität Ilmenau has been working since 2011 on design and control tools for smart vehciles and energy-efficient vehicle drives and have informally established Smart Vehicle Systems Working Group. Research group interests and competencies extend to motion control systems for electric vehicles, x-in-the-loop validation and testing technologies, and methods for designing chassis and powertrain systems at vehicle and component level. Portfolio of the group includes R&D activities performed in various European projects within FP7, Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe frameworks.
