SmartAlarm (E-control BV) is an young innovative company that strives to deliver quality and reliability by using the latest technologies in AoIP. The SmartAlarm system makes it possible for E-control to live up to the high standards on the private and business market. From burglary, fire, water damage to high resolution IP night camera’s, the system focusses on technologies that create a safe environment. Alarm systems are one of the few household electronics that are used for a period of ten years or longer. The appliance of IP connections in household electronics is a popular trend and that makes the SmartAlarm system the ideal base for Domotica. E-control focusses on this expertise through SmartAlarm. E-control continues to develop innovative functionalities together with our partners from within this field. The strategy for other domotica is to connect with existing companies who have already devoted a lot of time and expertise in this area. Our entire system is designed to be able to connect and adapt easily to other systems which means we don’t have to continually start from scratch. Therefore we are able to provide our customers with a fault-free system that has the full focus of the company that developed it. In addition we believe that current domotica topics, such as light and thermostats, have a significantly shorter lifespan of active users in comparison to an alarm system (over 10 years). We therefore want to easily link with existing systems so that we can always offer the most up to date and greatest systems on the market. Thus not having to keep track of or maintain a system in years to come that may not have been optimally used, causing unnecessary expenses.
