The SMARTY project tackles the challenges of trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) in edge computing. Our focus is on processing data close to its source, enabling faster, more efficient, and secure data handling. Trustworthy AI is crucial for reliable decision-making in critical applications like healthcare, autonomous vehicles, and industrial automation. We ensure AI systems are transparent, secure, and accurate, protecting data-in-transit and data-in-process while maintaining low latency and accessibility.
