SME Informatics Ltd. is one of the niche software companies operating in Bangladesh primarily focusing on the small and medium enterprise sector of the nation. The company is involved in the collection and maintenance of an extensive database of SMEs in Bangladesh. More importantly the company provides predictive analytic and other value added services to SMEs. This database and all its parameters are updated on a frequent basis with information regarding SMEs operating across all regions of the nation primarily from field workers, research analysts, market information, and outreach initiatives undertaken by other STEPs member organizations. Physical Infrastructure The research and development team of SME Informatics works out of the company’s Shyamoli office. Majority of the server components and hardware are also stored at Shyamoli while back-ups are maintained at the Banani, Dhaka office to ensure redundancy at multiple levels. The operations and software development teams are fully operational at both locations.
