SMEEU represents employees in shipbuilding, ship-repairing, ship/marine engineering, oil-rig fabrications & repairing, servicing of barges and landing crafts, salvage and towage operations, ship scaffolding, crane services, port and environmental services, marine construction system & equipment, oilfield equipment, servicing and manufacturing or any related industries. SMEEU aims to: 1) protect the interest of members, improve and enhance their well-being and quality of life 2) promote good industrial relations between union and our management partners 3) achieve the raising of productivity for the benefit of members, their employers and the economy of Singapore 4) promote a strong sense of social responsibility and family cohesiveness amongst our members 5) continuously provide efficient and value added services to our members and stakeholders
