Smera Foundation is a non-profit organization based at Thrissur. Smera Foundation has tied up with a Bangalore based NGO SAATHIYA, which is a philanthropic initiative of Infosys Co-founder Shibulal and family. We aim of empowering the underprivileged youth through skilling in courses such as Housekeeping and Food & Beverage service. We provide residential training to students for two months and OJT for 8 to 12 weeks in premium hotels. The institute also provides support for placement of students at premium hotels. Moreover, career guidance is provided for the students for 5 years.
