SMIFUK Conferences

SMIFUK24 is the Third Edition of Europe’s Only Conference of Student-Managed Investment Funds, Hosted by the University of York and Griff Investment Fund. The conference will examine a wide range of topics relevant to SMIFs as small institutional investors, ranging from how to select new student analysts, strategies to enhance diversity and inclusion in the analyst body, financial decision making and biases, asset pricing and market sentiment. We will include topics presented by SMIF committee members, staff supervising them, investment academics, industry professionals (especially SMIF alumni) and investment authors and journalists. We are offering tickets to student analysts at well below cost price as we want as many SMIFs to attend as possible. It will be on the 28th - 29th February 2024 at the Guildhall in York.
