Smiths is a precision Engineering Company based in Harlow, Essex. Our expertise lies in the machining of large complex components; including hard metals such as Titanium and Nickel based steels. Smiths is a Tier 1 supplier to many OEM's, predominantly supplying the Aerospace and Defence sectors, and specializing in the manufacture, and assembly, of engine rotating rings and large complex prismatic components. Within our current capabilities we can turn up to 3m diameter and have numerous 5 axis milling options up to 2.7m. Sitting alongside our production facility is our Fast Make capability, focused on excellence in engineering. This provides our customers with quality products with lead times in weeks rather than months.
