Smør was founded in 2019 by two Danes named Sebastian. Both Sebastian’s were born and partially raised in Denmark before moving abroad. The pair felt there was a need for good Nordic-Inspired food in the city, so they decided to bring their vision to life, hence the existence of Smør. Since the opening of the first restaurant in the East Village, the duo have added a bakery, expanded into catering and will add an exciting new concept in 2024.
