The University of St.Gallen (HSG) has evolved to one of the leading business universities in Europe and worldwide. From its foundation in 1898 until today, the university established study programmes on undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate level in the fields of business, economics, law, social sciences and politics, computer sciences and medicine. Students are encouraged to go on exchange and can choose from more than 200 partnerships across the globe, a dozen double degree programmes, a virtual exchange programme and two flagship exchange programmes in cooperation with the HUBs in Singapore and São Paulo. At the same time, every year Saint Gallen welcomes hundreds of exchange students from its partner universities or Freemover visiting students from non-partner universities. Student Mobility coordinates study abroad terms for guest students and assists them with all aspects of their exchange.
