SMVIT DEBSOC

SMVIT DEBSOC, the official Debate Society of Sir MVIT was started 10 years ago for expressive minds to come together and engage in healthy debates. We conduct activities and sessions to facilitate the growth of debate culture in the college. We also facilitate the involvement of our members in the InterVarsity debating circuit. Our major objective is to make public speaking and debates accessible to everyone. With the growing competitive world, the development of soft skills such as proper communication, etc become important. We wish to create a healthy environment for students to gain comfort in speaking, exploring their minds, help them think rationally and thereby gain comfort in expressing their ideas effectively.
