The automotive industry is one of the most important downstream industries as it is directly related to the consumer as well as other industries. Since the automotive industry is closely linked to more than 20 industries, it requires an integrated effort of local and global expertise to reach the optimal model and take advantage of all available resources. Therefore, SNAM worked for more than a decade conducting necessary research, Feasibility studies as well as in depth studies for all industries, factories, companies and institutions that are related directly or indirectly to the automotive industry. Furthermore, SNAM communicated with the leading global automotive manufacturers to understand and specify all requirements for the establishment of the automobile industry in the KSA. To guarantee that automotive industry would be economically feasible for all involved parties, SNAM adopted a win-win approach for all parties. 2. Establish and found local suppliers in Saudi Arabia for automotive parts.
3. Localization and Subsidization of the industry through international training and education.
4. Transfer technology and establish centers for research and development in the automotive industry locally.
