SNAP Financial Access is a subsidiary of Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners (SNAP).
Through classes, workshops and one-on-one coaching you can learn to take control of your finances and build a prosperous future. We believe in creating opportunities for those in need and we believe in strengthening our local economy through our business development and financing opportunities. Through our work, we are contributing to and fostering economic revitalization in Spokane and the surrounding cities/counties.
We are a HUD-approved Housing Counseling agency, specializing in mortgage default counseling and foreclosure prevention. We are the only HUD-approved Housing Counseling agency specializing in these areas in Eastern Washington.
We are home to the Women's Business Center Inland Northwest (WBC INW), one of two WBC's in Washington State. Our WBC INW provides our business development/training and financial literacy workshops, these are held in the Business Center, located in our office.
SNAP Financial Access is a designated Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) allowing us to lend and provide our community with access to money. As per an internal audit, 80% of businesses that receive funding and technical assistance from SNAP Financial Access are open after 5 years! We beat the national average of 50% open after 5 years.
