There are over 300,000 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the US, growing at 6% annually. Currently, no tool exists to support daily collaboration between Physicians & their APPs. Inasmuch, APPs experience difficulty providing complete, direct care to patients while collaborating with the physicians they support. To ensure collaboration & workflow efficiency, Snapp provides an easy-to-use mobile application residing on the user’s mobile device. Snapp enables Physicians & APPs to experience encounter-to-encounter collaboration for comprehensive patient visits while capturing typically lost or missed charges & avoiding costly compliance risks. Additionally, Snapp’s proprietary decision engine logs encounter duration & records optional Physician/APP audio notes, saving significant administrative time. All of this data is seamlessly & safely submitted to the hospital's EHR. Snapp was recognized by Vizient as winner of their 2016 Innovation Excellence Award following Snapp's pilot at a leading teaching hospital. This initial Snapp pilot demonstrated a >12% increase in clinical time & billings, resulting in a projected income increase of $1.2 million for an average hospital. Snapp’s product will be fully market ready August 2018. Dr. Bart Sachs, a practicing orthopedic surgeon and entrepreneur who has worked closely with his APP team for three decades, founded Snapp. He has successfully founded two previous healthcare organizations. Founder & CEO is Matt Weismiller, whose history of successful healthcare innovation spans three decades. He was most recently CEO of Berchtold, which was acquired by Stryker in 2014. CCO is Alex Fritts, joined in February 2017 from Stryker. His career has successfully spanned more than 10 years in sales and leadership roles in capital equipment, medical device, & surgical disposables.
