The S Norton Group supports the circular economy by collecting, processing and distributing approximately 1.5m tonnes of recycled metals each year. Our business is the recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals and plastics from sources such as: End of life vehicles Car manufacturers Demolition companies Metal merchants Civic amenity sites Trade and the general public The S Norton Group recycles 95% of all materials it processes via its shredding operations, ensuring valuable materials are recycled and reused. We have developed innovative processes to recover metals and plastics from waste electronics and end of life vehicles. We help organisations and companies from all industry sectors to achieve their sustainability objectives, and we are well on the way to achieving our own zero waste to landfill target. The company has been operating for over 60 years with sites across the UK in Liverpool, Manchester, Salford, Southampton and London. We are an ISO 9001 accredited company for quality, 14001 for environmental management and 45001 for health and safety management systems, and we have won two Queen’s awards for exports
