SO Training & Consulting

SO Training & Consulting was established out of a passion to ensure those who work with children, young people and adults have the knowledge, and confidence to provide effective trauma-informed services. We provide a range of services focused on safeguarding, welfare, well-being and leadership to enable everyone to create safe spaces and enjoyable environments for all. We have three arms to our business: SO Education SO Community (Charity/Criminal Justice/Housing etc) SO Sport This means we can offer tailored solutions appropriate to your sector that can include:- Training - Whether it's for Staff, Volunteers or Trustee/Board Members we can provide bespoke training or workshops on a range of topics to ensure participants can apply the knowledge they've gained confidently. This can be a stand-alone session or part of a programme of events. E.g. Designated Safeguarding Lead, Trauma Informed Workshops Consultancy - If you've got a project that you need specialist support on to ensure it meets safeguarding standards be assured, that we can provide everything you need. Auditing - Would you benefit from an expert analysing your current safeguarding provision and providing a report complete with recommendations? We've got you covered. Coaching - Do you have Safeguarding staff that would benefit from on-the-job coaching to build their skills and knowledge around everything safeguarding and welfare? We can provide coaching, based on a competency-based framework, tailored to their and the company's needs. Staff Supervision - If you have a dedicated member of staff for safeguarding and want to be assured that they are receiving the appropriate professional support, whilst having practice appropriately checked and challenged. We can provide tailored supervision sessions that meet that need.
