SOAR NY is a New York–based creative studio led by Masaki Hanahara, specializing in branding, visual systems, and cultural interventions that reshape how we see and feel cities.
At the core of SOAR NY’s practice is a belief that design is not just a means of communication, but a sensory tool—a way to shift perspectives, moods, and relationships with our environments. We work across disciplines and scales, crafting visual identities, campaigns, and site-specific installations that live at the intersection of art, design, and public space.
Our recent projects include a large-scale mural in DUMBO, Brooklyn, supported by NYC DOT ART and the DUMBO Improvement District—an immersive visual experience that reframes the relationship between movement, architecture, and nature. Founder and Creative Director Masaki Hanahara was also recognized as one of the top four Creative Directors in the design category by The One Show, and his poster work is part of the permanent collection at The National Museum in Poland.
SOAR NY continues to pursue design that quietly transforms—from the inside out.
