School of Creative Arts - SoCA

The School of Creative Arts (SoCA), University of Lahore, was established in 2010 with a vision to provide quality education and training in the field of Media, Communication, Film, and Television in Pakistan. The School has since grown exponentially and currently offers degree programs at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels where over 1000+ students are now engaged in the activities of the Media Group housed within the School's facilities giving them the experience of news, television, and film production skills. The School of Creative Arts (SoCA) is the only facility in Pakistan with two commercial studios, the latest cinematic and television equipment, and a sound studio delivering commercial film and sound production. We at the School of Creative Arts (SoCA) recognize that improving educational achievements in creative practices is the most significant strategy for constructively impacting our students’ futures. To use the word "art, design & and digital media education" in its fullest definition, refers to more than a set of results. Our vision includes academic, social, critical, and emotional development, citizenship, responsibility, contentment, and achievement for our students. We anticipate that the way teachers produce curriculum and students interact with it reflects this vision of the SoCA. We have pledged to create an educational environment that is well-designed and follows the key material and concepts of the offered disciplines and nurtures a love of learning for a lifetime.
