The Social Enterprise Ecosystem (SEE) program achieves three major objectives: (1) business enhancement and growth through no-fee professional services for social enterprises (for-profits or non-profits with a social mission that also achieve revenue); (2) capital access for social enterprises through grants and impact investment; and (3) accurate, fiscal measurement of social impact by certified providers of the Social Return on Investment methodology. SEE Impact implementing partners are the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, Athens County Foundation, Appalachian Investors Alliance, Ohio University, the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation, Rural Action, and Sugarbush Impact Investments LLC. SEE is sponsored by the Appalachian Regional Commission.
