Social Workers Without Borders

Social Workers Without Borders (SWWB) is a social work organisation, formed by volunteer social workers across the UK. We use our professional voice, skills and knowledge to promote fairness and equality for individuals, families and communities impacted by immigration controls. Our work is organised into three strands: 1) Direct work - preparing independent social work reports to be used as expert evidence in immigration and asylum matters 2) Campaigns - to protect the rights of people with insecure immigration status and to challenge immigration policies that conflict with social work ethics 3) Education - sharing our knowledge with the social work sector to support improvements in education and practice
