SIS Consulting

SIS Consulting is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to getting more business leaders, researchers, and university students “in the game” of converting major social challenges into profitable business opportunities. We are an experiential learning space for university freshmen to consult with socially-minded businesses and make a positive impact on society. Students also refine their skills in problem solving, consulting, communication, and teamwork--in an environment where failure is embraced and learning, self-reflection, and personal development are emphasized. In the end, we are a student-centered, learning organization for participants to define their personal values, gain key business competencies, and understand firsthand how for-profit businesses address social problems. By learning how to communicate, project plan, problem solve, and work with businesses, this next generation of leaders will be better prepared to tackle both the business and social challenges of tomorrow.
