SODEA is a leading Tunisian company specializing in the conditioning and wholesale distribution of fruits, vegetables, and dates to supermarkets and large retail chains. SODEA is proud to be the first company in Tunisia to introduce the concept of fresh produce in modern retail outlets.
Our core activities include:
Conditioning and packaging according to retail standards, with proven expertise in sorting, packing, and cold storage;
Marketing and exporting over 3,000 tons of Tunisian Deglet Nour dates, both natural (on branch or loose) and processed (hydrated and glucose-coated), to local and international markets including Europe, the Gulf countries, Africa, Morocco, Spain, and India;
Seasonal export of fresh Tunisian fruits such as apricots, peaches, plums, and watermelons;
Import and local distribution of exotic fruits including bananas, kiwis, pineapples, and avocados;
Processing of fruits into juices and frozen products, to diversify our offerings and reduce raw material losses.
SODEA is also investing in integrated agriculture, with forecasted production of over 3,000 tons of apples and peaches, and 1,500 tons of grapes from our own farms starting from the 2025–2026 harvest season.
Our operations are certified ISO 9001 and ISO 22000, and we are implementing an energy management system compliant with ISO 50001, reflecting our commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient performance.
